swrx3Announcing sonicWORX • Pro:
Reverse Engineer Your Music

As the first software of its kind, sonicWORX • Pro allows displaying, extracting and suppressing individual instruments and voice in a mix in a semi-automatic manner using a powerful pattern detector. Prosoniq’s novel pattern tracker automatically detects, tracks and resolves conflicts with other instruments based on hints given by the user. Selecting and extracting tracks can be accomplished in minutes using our software. This makes sonicWORX • Pro an incredibly versatile tool that allows both micro-editing as well as easy suppressing, extracting or processing instruments or voice within a mix for remixing, mastering or restoration  [more information].

Plug-In Updates Announced for Mid 2010

rtas_sizedGood news for all users of our RTAS and VST plug ins: new versions of our RTAS and VST products as well as new AudioUnit versions are expected to be available in Q2 of 2010. Magenta and Rayverb will be discontinued starting June 1st, 2009. They will eventually become part of a different product in the course of this and the following year. We regret not being able to deliver the much needed Intel updates earlier, but there have been quite a lot of changes in the VST and RTAS SDK so we decided to redesign them from the ground up rather than to amend existing (mostly Carbon and legacy MacOS 9) code. More information on product roadmap and feature set will become available in early 2010.

Bold New Directions

In 2008 Prosoniq has undergone considerable internal restructuring that in the long term enables us to better create and support products based on our novel analysis and resynthesis technologies. Computational limitations of yesterday’s desktop computers and existing long term contracts had prevented us from marketing some of our technologies as products for end users before the year 2009. Starting out with sonicWORX • Pro there will be many new and exciting products over the years to come. Watch this space for more information and make sure you check back often to find out about our latest developments.
